If you are a recent graduate, it can be hard to feel separated from Facebook. With Facebook, you can get the latest updates on that popular person in your college. However, Facebook is not only suitable for college students but it can also be used by older people including parents and grandparents. Apart from being a place for young people to connect with each other, Facebook is also used by businesses and organizations to connect to their own audiences. However, if you are serious in promoting your company or organization, you should create a Facebook fan page.
If you don’t have a Facebook account, you can create one at Facebook.com. After you have created an account, you should login to it. To create a fan page, go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php. Under Category, you should choose a category of your industry. Next, you should enter a title for your fan page.
After creating the fanbook page, you must upload a profile picture. To upload a profile picture, click on the large question mark on the left and click on the Change Picture link. Under the info tab, click on the Edit Information link to enter the more details about yourself. You can insert the URL of your website under the Detailed Info.
After you have setup the fan page, you must inform your readers about it so that they can ‘fan’ you. You can publicize to your reader by writing a blog post about your new Facebook fan page. You can include a link in the blogroll section of your blog in the side bar so that your readers can easily click through to your Facebook fan page. In addition, you can email all your friends on Facebook and inform them about your new page. If they are interested In becoming your Facebook friends, they will also be interested to ‘fan’ your page.
Besides making a fan page interactive, you can make it look attractive by giving it a unique design. You will also want to update your fan page frequently so that your fans will keep on coming back to it.

Creating a strong password is the key to be safer on the web and have risk free transactions across the globe.
For creating strong passwords that cannot be easily hacked, you need to take care of mainly two things – Length and Complexity. An ideal password should contain at least 10 letters comprising of alphabets (both small and big), numbers, and special characters.
It is recommended to change your passwords regularly for accounts like Gmail, Facebook, Twitter etc. Also, for more sensitive accounts like Paypal, Alertpay, or some cPanel accounts, it is recommend to change passwords more often because these are related to your work, say every week or every 2 weeks. If you are a blogger using WordPress or Blogger, then you can use this technique to better protct your online hosting and FTP accounts.
Here are some suggestions to create a more secure password:
- It must not contain your NAME, your friend’s name, or family members’ name
- It must never be related to your Login ID
- Your password should not be a word that appears in the dictionary
- It should not be a common word that is available very easily
- It should be a combination of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers and symbols such as *, . , / : : ‘ { } @ # $ % ^ & etc
By following these simple guidelines, you can rest assured that your virtual existence is well protected and all of your private information is safe and secure.

If you want to customize your PC, try putting a message up on the Welcome Screen for a user to see before they log in. Today, I am going to show you a neat trick that allows you to put a message on the Welcome Screen that the user has to read before logging in. This is useful in many ways, for example if you want to flash a warning a whoever is using your computer about something.
Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
- Go to your Start Menu, type in regedit, and then click enter on your keyboard to go to the Registry Editor.
- Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.
- Double-click on the legalnoticecaption value to modify it. In the “Value data” field enter the header you want. For example your company name or the name of your computer, then click “OK”.
- Double-click on the legalnoticetext value to modify it. In the “Value data” field enter the message you want. (There is no limit to how many characters you can or cannot have.) “Click OK”.
- Exit Registry Editor and restart Windows.
- After your computer reboots, you will see the text message you have just created at the Welcome Screen.
I planned to install Exchange server 2010 in my laptop, but the system requirementswas very high configurations. So i planned to utilize my USB device as RAM, this feature is available in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.
Using USB device as RAM is commonly known as ReadyBoost feature which helps to boost up your system performance. Let me explain how to use USB device as RAM in this post.
Steps to utilize USB storage device as RAM
1. Plugin your USB storage device.

3. Right click on the USB storage device and select properties
4. After selecting properties, you will be prompted with different tabs, selectReadyBoost tab
5. In ReadyBoost select Use this device option and set the space to be utilized, using the slider as shown in above picture and click apply.

Paste the code given below in notepad and 'Save' it as batch file (with extension '.bat').
Any name will do.
Then you see a batch file. Double click on this batch file to create a folder locker.
New folder named 'Locker' would be formed at the same location.
Now bring all the files you want to hide in the 'Locker' folder. Double click on the batch file to lock the folder namely 'Locker'.
If you want to unlock your files,double click the batch file again and you would be prompted for password.
Enter the password and enjoy access to the folder.

Google has increased the attachment size from 20MB to 25MB

Label hiding is my favorite new feature, since it saves me from having to look through labels I rarely use. If you’ve lost your CD Key for your current Windows installation you can get it back pretty easily. There is a program called RockXP that scans the computer for your product key and gets it out so that you can easily reinstall Windows. This is particularly handy when the computer you bought doesn’t come with the standard Windows reinstall disk, you can throw out the reinstall disk that came with your computer since it’s loaded with junk anyway and download a plain old Windows CD off the internet somewhere and use your legal product key to reinstall windows.
The program will also retrieve system passwords if you’ve forgotten them and product keys for Microsoft Office. On one computer the anti-virus software thought the application was a virus but on all of the other computers I have run it on there hasn’t been a problem. The anti-virus software that showed the false positive was Symantec’s anti-virus.

Method 1
Boot up with DOS and delete the sam.exe and sam.log files from Windows\system32\config in your hard drive. Now when you boot up in NT the password on your built-in administrator account which will be blank (i.e No password). This solution works only if your hard drive is FAT kind.
Method 2
Step 1. Put your hard disk of your computer in any other pc .Step 2. Boot that computer and use your hard disk as a secondary hard disk (D'nt boot as primary hard disk ).Step 3. Then open that drive in which the victim’s window(or your window) is installed.Step 4. Go to location windows->system32->configStep 5. And delete SAM.exe and SAM.log

Want to capture a song from an Internet radio station, grab a line from the latest viral YouTube clip, or make a mashup of Windows system sounds? We're not here to judge--we're here to show you how. Follow these easy steps to record any audio that plays through your PC.
1. Find a Male-to-Male Audio Cable
Before you start recording anything, you need to find amale-to-male 1/8-inch audio cable. If you don't have one, you can buy one for less than a buck from MonoPrice.com. If you have external speakers for your PC, the cable that connects the speakers to your system's headphone jack may work.
2. Download Audacity and LAME
Next, download and install Audacity, a free open-source audio editor. While you're waiting for that to download, grabLAME for Audacity if you don't have it already; you'll need it if you want to save your files as MP3s. (Having problems installing LAME? Read theinstallation instructions.)
3. Set Your Input and Output Devices in Audacity
Open Audacity, select the Edit menu, and choose Preferences. Under the Devices tab, choose your microphone jack (it's called 'Microsoft Sound Mapper - Input' on my PC) for the recording device, as well as whichever audio source you want to record from as the playback device. If you're on a PC with a built-in Webcam (usually an all-in-one computeror a laptop), make sure not to select your Webcam's mic as the recording device, because it won't sound very good.
Plug one end of the male-to-male 1/8-inch audio cable into the microphone jack, and the other end into the headphone jack. This way, your PC can record directly from the audio-out source without as much background noise or distortion. You can do without the cable, but the results won't turn out as well.
4. Record
Click the Record button in Audacity and start playing the source. If the reading in Audacity looks like a full solid bar, the volume levels are too high, and the recording will sound heavily distorted. While recording audio from YouTube videos, I found that I got the best results when I set the system volume, the YouTube volume, and the Audacity levels all to about 25 percent or so. Experiment with the volume settings before recording the version you want to keep.
Once you've finished recording, go to the File menu, choose Export, and select MP3 from the 'Save as type' drop-down menu. If Audacity asks you to locate lame_enc.dll, it should be in the LAME for Audacity package you downloaded and unzipped.
