uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrentclient for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little CPU, memory, and space resources as possible while offering all the functionality expected of advanced clients. You can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, it supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Changes in build 25583:
*Fix: webUI bug after /proxy request

Google published some very interesting stats in The 1000 most-visited sites on the web report for DoubleClick Ad Planner, its ad management service. Facebook.com supposedly managed to hit 1 trillion pageviews in the month of June, standing at the top of the list a whole order of magnitude higher than the next most visited site – YouTube.com, and its 100 billion pageviews.
The top-five is rounded off with Yahoo.com, Live.com, and Wikipedia.org. Facebook’s showing in June was certainly remarkable, with 870 million unique visitors creating all those pageviews – a figure that is larger than the total number of registered users at last official count (750 million), so unless the site’s membership has also grown since, that makes up for about 120 million non-registered visitors arriving via advertisements, search engines.
Purely in terms of pageviews, Baidu.com comes in second after Facebook at 120 billion pageviews. Smaller social networks like the Russian Vkontakte.ru and Brazilian Orkut.com.br, showed some surprisingly high figures, with 52 billion and 48 billion pageviews respectively...N

Spadix BackStreet Browser 3.2.0.3

It is a powerful offline browser. A high-speed, multi-threading website download and viewing program. By making multiple simultaneous server requests, BackStreetBrowser can quickly download entire website or part of a site including HTML, graphics, Java Applets, sound and other user definable files, and saves all the files in your hard drive, either in their native format, or as a compressed ZIP file and view offline. After downloading, all links within the website are reconstructed creating a complete hard drive copy of the site that you can view at your own pace without being connected to the Internet. Additionally, BackStreet Browser provides the option of duplicating the original directory structure of a site making it easy to download and transfer a site to another server.

In the event you lose your Internet connection while downloading a site, the Resume Session allows you to pick up a session where you left off after reestablishing your Internet connection. If you wish to update a previously downloaded site, the Update Session feature allows you to revisit a site using new search parameters to make sure you have the most current files.

In addition to the embedded quick-view browser window in the main program screen, you can launch your default browser for viewing any downloaded projects. The quick-view browser window also supports browsing zipped website, so that you don't need to unzip the files to view.

Major Features of BackStreet Offline Browser 3.2 (Released 24.01.2011):

Windows 7 support.
- High-speed, multi-threading website download.
- Resume feature to pick up a session where left off.
- Update feature to download new or modified files.
- Built-in file viewer in onboard browser window to view files offline.
- Print/Preview downloaded files within same offline browser window.
- Built-in Zip/Unzip facility for downloaded websites.
- Option of duplicating the original directory structure of a site.
- Filters files by URL, size, type, date modified, text.
- User-selectable recursion levels, retrieval threads, timeout and proxy support.
- Accesses password-protected sites.

1} Choosing the right p2p sharing client
There are many P2P sharing client available on the web for free, like bit-torrent{the inventor of P2P clients},transmission,U-torrent,wikipedia lists almost 70 of them,In this example I would be using U-torrent as my P2P shareing client

2} Secondly check your ISP maximum download speed
This is where your most of the torrent file download would be decide,if you are unsure about ur maximum download & upload speed of your ISP,You can use this free tool at speedtest.net to check your maximum download & upload speed, there are many others which provide the same service for free, but I suggest our users to use the above tool,

3} Add the program in windows firewall exception

Firewalls can block all incoming U-torrents connections coming through. To ensure otherwise, a firewall should be manually configured to accept the connections and let it through the client. Windows XP has the Windows Firewall. Configure the firewall installed to accept the connections by checking the P2P sahring client on the allowed list i.e.Options – Preferences ““ Connection – check Add uTorrent to Windows Firewall. Also, check the Windows Firewall exception (if you keep it enabled) in your client too. Shutting down the firewall is not recommended as it leaves the computer open to attack.

4}Use different ports.
Normally every P2P sharing client come with the default port between 6210-6950,but Ports numbered above 10000 is suggested,ISPs throttle traffic on these ports as P2P sharing involves high bandwidth usage. It’s easy to configure a different port in your torrent client. Use some number above 10000 to get around ISPs and also avoid problems with other applications. By default, the uTorrent port is randomized each time it starts. Set a specific port by not enabling the Randomize Port setting.

5} Minimize your upload rate

A P2P sharing network involves sharing the same file,But an unlimited upload{0 by default in U-torrent means unlimited} rate would also affect your download speed too,

Using the speed tests, find out your maximum upload speed and then set your Global Upload Rate in uTorrent to about 80% of your maximum upload speed. You can also try varying your upload speeds ““ keep it high initially and then gradually bring it down towards the middle of the download.Note: Mind the speed units ““ it may be given in kilobits per second (kb/sec) orkilobytes per second (kB/sec). 1 kilobyte = 8 kilobit

6}Tweaking with Protocol Encryption
Many ISP’s including the Big Brothers constrict the use of bandwidth,& hence slow the download speed,To overcome this constriction we enable protocol Encryption in P2P sahring client, which By default are disabled

With protocol encryption, ISPs find it difficult if not impossible to detect that the traffic is coming from BitTorrent. Experiment with enabled, disabled and forced options because you could be getting better speeds with encryption disabled. Non-encryption makes a torrent connection compatible with someone who is not using encryption but as a minus it makes the torrent detectable to an ISP with a bandwidth restricting policy.

7}Experimenting with Bandwidth & Connection
Your P2P client’s settings options will let you enter figures for ““Global maximum number of connections gives the maximum number of connections that a BitTorrent client can make for any P2P exchange. Setting this too high does NOT mean higher speeds. Setting it too high would take up useless bandwidth and too low a figure would miss out on peers. For my 512kbps connection, I have a setting of 180.

Maximum number of connected peers per torrent gives the maximum number of peers that a BitTorrent client can connect to for any P2P exchange. Experiment by setting this number close to the available peers for a particular torrent. For my 512kbps connection, I have a default setting of 100.

Number of upload slots per torrent gives the maximum number of peers that a BitTorrent client will upload to for any P2P exchange. A low setting may affect downloads. For my 512kbps connection, I have a setting of 4

8} Hack the max TCP connections
If you’re on XP sp2, your TCP connections are limited to a maximum of 10. This seriously hurts your downloading speed because it wont let you connect to a high amount of ip numbers. It is supposed to slow down viruses because their spreading strategy is to connect to a high amount of ip numbers, but it also cripples your torrent downloads.

A nice way to fix this is to download this patch, it allows you to set the maximum allowed connections to any number you want. Any number between 50 and 100 is ok

After running the patch, you have to set the number of connections in your torrent client. For example, in uTorrent go to Options ““ Preferences ““ Advanced – net.max_halfopen. Set any number from 50 to 100. But see that net.max_halfopen is setlower than the value set in TCPIP.SYS. Always check if it is still patched because Windows updates sometimes overwrite it.

9} TCP Optimizer

Download this free software utility and apply the optimal settings, it will apply the most appropriate setting of your Internet connection.

10}Common sense things

Download only those torrents which has high seeders’ & leacher’s,& every torrent gives us the chance to select which files from the download You want to download,so from that you can uncheck the unnecessary files.
