Google is trying to detect malware and viruses in the computers of the visitors who are searching on Google Search. They will simply warn the users about there computer’s state of affected from Malwares and Viruses. Users infected with the virus will see the above warning.
From the Google blog post mysteriously titled “Using data to protect people from malware”:
This particular malware causes infected computers to send traffic to Google through a small number of intermediary servers called “proxies.” We hope that by taking steps to notify users whose traffic is coming through these proxies, we can help them update their antivirus software and remove the infections.
This is the first attempt by a Search engine to make a opportunity to detect malware in the user’s PC. Hope, It will have a nice response from the users.
