Internet tablets have popped up like anything since the launch of Apple iPad. Though Internet Tablets in India are a bit costly yet they are perfect option for those who want to surf Internet most of the time from their laptops. Instead of buying a bulky laptop one can easily grab a Internet Tablet for around Rs 35,000. To jump into the bandwagon Dell has launched its Internet Tablet namely Dell Streak for a price tag of Rs 34,990.
As of now the Dell Streak seems to be running on Android 1.6 but Dell has confirmed that it will be upgrading the same to Android 2.2 by the end of this year itself.
To add juice to the launch Dell announced that Tata DOCOMO users will get free data downloads if they buy Dell Streak loaded with Tata DOCOMO Internet.
Dell Streak is powered by Qualcomm’s overly hyped Snapdragon 8250 processor thus it could be considered fast! The five inches screen of Dell Streak is ideal for applications and gaming. The tablet comes loaded with Bluetooth, HSUPA and 3G thus making connectivity quiet easier.
